Dr. Joseph Haus receives American Physical Society Fellow Award

Dr Joseph Haus was bestowed the APS Fellow award at the joint OSA/APS October meeting in Rochester, NY. His work in heterogeneous nonlinear materials, especially nonlinear optics of photonic crystals was mentioned in the citation.

He is also a fellow of two international optics societies: SPIE and OSA fellow. Dr. Haus has been Director of the Electro-Optics Program since 1999 and the Director of the LADAR and Optical Communications Institute (LOCI) at UD. He has a Ph. D. in Physics from the Catholic University of America and an MS degree in Physics from John Carroll University.
