CENTERVILLE — A Centerville High School senior made a foray into a summer work program and emerged as the main author of a scientific paper.
Hans Banerjee, 17, presented the research paper, of which he was first author, to the American Physical Society on March 18 in Portland, Ore. The paper focuses on optical properties of photorefractive crystals, which are electro-optic materials that can be used in specialized scientific, industrial and defense applications.
